The infusion of artemisia is a great home remedy to combat the inflamed bladder, scientifically called cystitis, because it has diuretic properties that increase urinary frequency, decreasing the time urine stays in the bladder, thus reducing the proliferation of causative micro-organisms of the disease.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon dried artemisia leaves
- 1 cup boiling water
Method of preparation
Put the artemia in a cup and cover with boiling water. Cover, let stand for 20 minutes, strain and drink the next. Drink one cup of this infusion 2 to 3 times a day for 7 days or until symptoms of cystitis have disappeared. Symptoms of cystitis include blurred urine, difficulty urinating, burning sensation, and pain in the pubic area when urinating.
