Gentagran is an antibacterial drug that has the active substance Gentamicin.
This ophthalmic drug is indicated for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis and dacryocystitis. Its action consists in interfering in the synthesis of proteins of the bacteria that end up weakened and eliminated from the organism, thus, the improvement of the symptoms of the infection.

How to use Gentagran
Ophthalmic use
Adults and adolescents
- Ointment: Apply a small amount of the product to the conjunctiva every 8 or 12 hours.
- Eye drops : In mild infections apply one drop every 4 hours, in severe infections it is recommended to apply the eye drops hourly.
