Cefamox

Cefamox is an oral medication with Cefadroxil as its active ingredient.

This medicine is an antibacterial, which works by eliminating bacteria that cause diseases such as tonsillitis, pharyngitis and skin irritations.

The regression of the symptoms caused by these diseases can be noticed a few days after the administration of Cefamox, this rapidity occurs due to the facility of absorption of this substance by the organism.

Nausea; vomiting; indigestion.

Contraindications of Cefamox

Pregnancy risk B; women in the lactation phase; penicillin allergic individuals; premature babies and newborn infants less than 6 weeks old.

How to use Cefamox

Oral use

Adults

• 500 mg every 12 hours or 1g once daily for 10 days.

Children

• 25 to 50 mg per kg in divided doses twice daily.
