Dualid is an anorectic medicine that has the active ingredient Amfepramone.
This oral medication inhibits the appetite and is indicated for the treatment of obesity, but in order to result in weight loss the medication must be combined with diets, physical exercises and changes in behavior.
Dualid acts in the brain, precisely in the area of satiety, thus suppressing appetite.

Gastrointestinal : Changes in taste; abdominal pain; dry mouth; diarrhea; constipation; vomiting.
Cardiovascular : Cardiac arrhythmia; increased heart rate; increased or decreased blood pressure; palpitation.
Central Nervous System: Decreased concentration; weakness; Headache; irritability; depression; personality modification; dizziness; nervousness
Dermatologic : Urticaria; itching.
Eyepiece: Blurred vision; blurred vision.
Other : Breast augmentation; chest pain; impotence; irregular menstruation; urinary disturbance.
Contraindications of Dualid
Pregnancy risk B; women in the lactation phase; chronic alcoholism; asteriosclerosis; heart disease; glaucoma; cerebral ischemia; high pressure; states of agitation; hyperthyroidism; individuals who use drugs; uremia; psychosis (schizophrenia); children under 16 years of age.
Dualid Mode of Use
Oral use
(1 hour before meals)
Adult
- Administer 25 g of Dualid, 3 times a day or 75 g in a single daily dose, preferably in the middle of the morning.
