Peniscopia is a diagnostic test used to look for lesions or changes imperceptible to the naked eye, which may be present in the penis, scrotum or perianal region.

How to prepare for the exam
The preparation for the penis should include:
- Trim pubic hair prior to examination;
- Avoid intimate contact for 3 days;
- Do not put medicine on the penis the day of the exam;
- Do not wash the genitals immediately prior to the examination.
These care facilitates the observation of the penis and prevent false results, avoiding having to repeat the examination.
